What is covered by the registration fee?
The registration fee covers:
All conference materials
Networking session on Tuesday evening, May 28
Breakfast and lunch on Wednesday, May 29
Dinner and informal sessions at the Natural History Museum of Utah on Wednesday, May 29
Breakfast and lunch on Thursday, May 30
Breakfast on Friday, May 31
Do I need to book my own lodging?
Yes, you need to book your own lodging; this is NOT covered by the registration fee.
You can book directly with the hotel at the conference rate here.
Is my project required to present a poster?
Projects are strongly encouraged to present a poster. This includes both newly funded projects and those that have been running for 1+ years.
Information about poster format and sign-up will be coming soon.
Who can present a poster?
Any project or group attending the conference is welcome to present a poster.
You must register for the conference to present a poster.
All poster requests will be accepted if space allows.
If space becomes an issue, projects or authors who have requested >1 poster will be asked to select one for presentation.

How do I propose a conference session?
Proposals are invited for concurrent breakout sessions, short talks, a video showcase, and a curriculum & multimedia showcase.

What is provided for presentations in the breakout rooms?
Breakout rooms will have:
LCD projector and screen
Podium
Table with chairs for presenters
Large paper on an easel & markers
Free wi-fi
Presenters must bring their own laptop.
The following are only available in the plenary room, which is also used as a breakout room. These must be requested for breakout sessions on the session proposal form. The video showcase session will be held in the plenary room.
Wired internet connection

Will there be free Wi-fi?
Yes, free Wi-fi will be provided in the conference areas and hotel lodging rooms.
What is the SEPA New PI Meeting?
The Principal Investigators (PIs) of all SEPA projects funded during the past year are strongly encouraged to meet with Dr. Tony Beck, the SEPA Program Officer, over breakfast on Thursday, May 30.
Other PIs are welcome to attend. The meeting room will be listed in the conference program.
Is childcare available?
Onsite childcare can be individually arranged through Mountainside Sitters. They provide insured, verified, and CPR certified sitters for children ranging from infants to high school aged children.
